Hello forum,

Hoping that some of you who have postal stationary knowledge (i.e. area66, et al.) can share with me some information about the below:

Thanks in advance!

Wow, thanks for the updates area66 and your card from ebay is very nice.

Its really ironic all told because we were discussing postal stationary the other night and then last night while I was sorting through a box of stamps totally unrelated it just by fate happened to be there, I had never seen it before.

What are the odds?

Thanks again.

not quite accurate :)
Svar means answer... a very common card found in thousands, what could make them interesting is the postal part.

well unfortunatly I don't speak Novergian, for me it was making more sense to call it a "reply card" or a "return card" than an "anwser card"

anyway I delete my misleading information

would believe it's the equivalent to the correspondence card from denmark, but Blaamand would most likely know for sure?

Ok Sorsh, I'm not too familiar with stationaries, but will try.
Phil_Atelics card is most probably part 2 of # BK 39. This stationary constitutes of two parts:
Part 1) 'Brevkort med betalt Svar'.
Part 2) 'Svar / Brevkort'

The original sender pays 10 řre (double of normal franking) to send both parts, thus paying for a potential reply as well. The receiver can then reply on part 2, without needing to pay postage himself (valid only from UPU member states). That is the part in the OP. Hope that made sense

To illustrate the concept, here is an image of front and reverse on another 'double card' (another number though) :

yes, as I mentioned, we call them Korrespondance kort in denmark.

i dislike them only because they are thick, so hard to mount in a collection.

but I did keep one somewhere which I found funny, because it's in theory an SMS, i'll see if I can locate it and take a picture.

You don't mount stationery, covers ans similars, you place them in Vario, if both sides are interesting, you use clear Vario.
