Hi All

Please identify and value the below Iraqi 14 Fils stamp. It's probably from the 60s or 70s. Please give any value for one stamp and give as much description as possible. Many thanks.

King Faisal II depicted on a 1948 Iraq definitive.
SG number 282, catalogue value 10p.

Hope this helps
Just as an aside, I am giving you Stanley Gibbons numbers as you are in the UK. If my assumption that you will be using SG catalogue numbers is incorrect, just shout loudly and I will revert to Scott's.

Londonbus1...Or I can just shut up

Thanks for your reply Londonbus1. Yes, the Stanley Gibbons numbers are most appropriate as I'm in the UK. However, any identification via either SG or Scott is much appreciated as I don't have access to either of these catalogues myself.

Radderfire,
The $million question....will you be going to Stampex in London, September 16th -19th ??

Think about it, and think about picking up a used Scott or Gibbons catalogue at your local library.

It will be useful.

Londonbus1.....Stampex here I come

At some point I will probably be looking to sell the stamps I am posting here, so I might look at going to an exhibition then.
