They all look like coil stamps except for two that may be booklet stamps and one that appears to be a sheet stamp on the bottom right. The bottom right stamp with perforations all around is different. |

Clearly, that wasn't very challenging.

I would have not noticed it either, not being a Revenue collector. However, I do note that the final picture given by the seller, seems to zoom into this one stamp area, possibly showing the he/she knew it was the item of interest. |

Here's a photo of a lot I bought a little while ago.  There's a couple desirable ones here, but I spotted one not often seen. Did anyone else notice it? |

That's a good one, but this is the one I spotted:  Customs cigarette stamps with the word Seized (or sometimes just the letter S) are desirable. The Springer catalogs mentioned this but he did not list them as a separate catalog number. |

The simplest way to identify the dry prints on the playing cards is to look for the very white paper which is unwatermarked. You might also wish to explore articles written on the Liberty Series postage stamps and the final postage dues, which also are found as dry prints. With very little practice you will be able to spot them from "across the room,." |
