I posted this on the other (Aussi-based) board thinking I would get a quick answer, but nothing so far. I find posting images on this site more challenging (not sure why it is always a trick to get it to work), but thought I would give it a try.

I'm not very experienced in selling Roo/KGV varieties (of which I have quite a few). I know that everything is relative and various factors (eg. condition, centering) can make a difference.

As many of these items do not come up for sale often (limited market), sold listing examples (eg. ebay, auctions) are hard to find.

As a specific example of what I am talking about, any experts that can give me an idea of what would be a fair asking price? (ACSC CV is $150 relatively)

#33(4)l 3rd wm 1s "1 for I" var CV$150

Centering is not the best, but all else looks good. The "1" is well clear of the cancellation and color looks good. The value you quoted is probably is AUS$. I am guessing this would fetch in the neighborhood of US$30, but just my guess.

Thanks Partime, I appreciate your opinion.

ebay has been a hit or miss for me lately. Perhaps I should list it at auction with a minimum $10 start?

I try to finance my collection with these types of specialty finds, but I am not sure where the best market would be.

On further review, the mark isn't exactly what is shown in the ACSC catalog. I am also not sure it is a Die IIB. Can you post a better picture showing the die options?

Please let me know the ebay link, if you go to market.
I am not experienced in past sales, broadly go on 25% catalogue,
so I would support the $30 previously mentioned.

Personally I find prices can go anywhere, you can snap a bargain,
or get a very handsome price, depends who's looking.
I just sold 2 x 10/- Kangaroos "SPECIMEN" for $30 each.
Disappointing, but that was the market at the time.

Partime: It is the Die llB Harrison Plates.

Thanks again for the replies. I will likely list them this weekend (Sat. or Sun.) along with a couple of others.

Can I post the link here?

Typically we put 'for sale' posts in the "Post Stamp Collecting Items You Have For Sale Here" category but since it would be on topic in this thread it is fine.

As promised, here is a link to the item.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/201966852835?

I am trying it at US$18.50 + shipping. I think that is a fair price?
