Hi!
While the Scott National (USA) albums have the Scott stamp numbers, the International album does not (yes, it has them only for the USA). Is there a publication or website that will provide these numbers?

Thank you!

Only publication that comes to mind is.....the Scott catalog. You should remember that Scott is very stingy with their numbers!

I do have a full set of the Scott catalog and the "Classic Specialized" book as well. It's fairly easy to match the catalog numbers to some/most of the Scott album pages, but not all (for me anyway). In particular, I'm having difficult with the first page of the Great Britain section which goes from 1840 thru the early 1880s........

I know that later volumes of the internationals (starting with I believe the volumes for 1971-1973) do carry the Scott numbers printed in the spaces, but the earlier volumes do not, or at least they didn't in the 1990s when I was buying my sets. In the end I just wrote the numbers in lightly with pencil (as I was using Scott mounts for the stamps that didn't cause risk to stamps picking up any residue from the pencil lead). New printings of the earlier volumes may have indeed added them in, but if you got a used one, then putting the info in yourself is prob the best solution if you are using mounts.

Otherwise, there is always the Big Blue Key to internaional volume 1 that one can refer to. http://bigblue1840-1940.blogspot.co...mpleted.html

It is fairly easy to identify most of the spots, but some - to me - are confusing. My main reason for doing this post was generated by my difficulty in figuring out the Scott numbers for that first Great Britain page.

DJCMHOH,
I had forgotten about Big Blue's blog............ Great Britain is complete, and I got the Scott numbers as needed.

Thank you!
