Ebay Is Broken! You Can't Bid On Anything...

I was wondering if anyone else was having a problem bidding on item for auction on ebay. I can't bid on a thing. I tried different sellers, different browsers and it's broken.

I called ebay (i.e. a phone service in Manila) and after they checked and said I wasn't blocked (which I knew already), they admitted the problem has been around since at least yesterday.

Got to love answering services halfway around the world from where the programmers are located. My guess is that it won't be fixed until sometime after 11:00 a.m. EST (my time zone) as the folks in California probably aren't even aware of the issue.

Sure glad I don't have anything for sale on ebay right now!

Wow... I still can't place a bid. I wonder where the other buyers were who had notified ebay about the problem; perhaps it's a regional issue.

Sorry to hear that. No problem with me bidding in northern California just now. Even if regional, there should be a lot of people reporting the problem.

You can still post here okay. Apologies for asking the obvious, but have you checked that you didn't get logged out of ebay somehow or if the auction is private or suchlike?
