Minerals and Vitamins in Sarfarjal
Safarjal fruit contains beneficial vitamins and minerals and sarfarjal is not an exception. Sarfarjal contains Vitamin A, B and C, magnesium, selenium, copper, zinc, calcium, phosphorus, iron, and potassium. All these contribute to healing and health improvement factors.

On April 27, 1994 New Zealand issued a booklet of ten different "Kiwiana" (N.Z. life) stamps. One of the stamps (S.G. #1806) depicts two views of a Chinese gooseberry, which we know today (through marketing) as kiwifruit.

This German cinderella of 1927 publicizes the Flowers and Fruit Exhibition held in the Frankfurt A.M. Banquet Hall. Some asparagus spears are shown among the fruit, perhaps because its greenery is attractive in floral arrangements after it is allowed to bolt.

Here is the Dominican Republic's 3c stamp commemorating "1980 Year of Agriculture". A banana farm is shown.

On February 3, 1950 Guatemala issued a set of five, small, low value tourism-themed stamps. The 1c value from this set shows banana plants.

As indicated on the lower left border the stamp
was printed by the STAATSDRUCKEREI WIEN ( Austrian State Printer, Vienna)
By 1950 that printer had produced stamps for various countries
namely Liechtenstein,Bulgaria, Turkey,Indonesia and now
I can add Guatemala to that list.

Well, I don't collect fruit stamps nor Hungarian stamps, but when I saw the following set, I couldn't resist and bidded for it, mainley because its beauty and great engraving. It was issued by Hungary in 1954 to publicize the National Agricultural Fair. Designed and engraved by Fule Mihály, Horváth Endre, Gál Ferenc, Zoltán Nagy and Vertel József as indicated on the stamps:

Here is the 150 drachma value (Sc #1554a) from Greece's February 17, 1986 set of 12 stamps depicting the gods and goddesses of Mt. Olympus. Stamps were issued in sheet and booklet format. Booklet stamp is shown here. Demeter is shown holding a pomegranate branch in her right hand, and a lemon branch in her left hand.
