Thanks rod. My perf gauge only measures in 1/2 increments as does the Scott Catalog. I'm going to shop around for a gauge like you have there. I have a few KGV plate blocks. If Scott estimates perfs a gauge in 1/4 increments will probably come in handy.

Good luck gettinold,
If you practice with the sliding scale part of the guage, you won't look back,
Line up your stamp first tooth left hand side, and slide the stamp, up and down, until all teeth line up, and whizzo, you have a good read.

I score a line with a scalpel on mine to give quarter perf measurements around 14 .
