Hello!

Last Sunday I got a lot of 74 8c pre-stamped postcards from Canada on boot sale/rastro in Cadiz.

They are somewhat yellowish, but the general state of conservation of postcards is good.

The codes from this 74 postcards are in alphabetical order:

Type: 1 ON-1 (See reverse postcard image) 2 PQ-1 3 BC-1 etc...

Complete codes that I have:

AB BC MB NB NF NS ON PE PQ SK YN

I loved the find and now I want to complete the collection.
Here are my questions to the postal experts in Canada:

I would need some technical information from this collection:

Are these postcards cataloged?
How could I get a complete list?
Are they hard to get?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Angel

P.D .: My English is very basic. I'm sorry, friends. I hope they understand me.

Hello Robleytilo
Here are the answers.

Yes these post cards are catalogued: They are in the Webb's Postal Stationery Catalogue - now in its 7th edition.
That does not mean it is readily available. In fact, it's hard to find. The publisher says an 8th edition will be out soo-oo-oo-oo-oonish.
Contact the Saskatoon Stamp Centre (ssc@saskatoonstamp.com) to see if they can help.
If not, wait for your fiftieth post and email me for help.

There are 105 of the cards in all. The first 15 (1971 7cents) are The Canadian National Exhibition Scenes. The rest (1972 8cents) are the Canadian Multicoloured Scenes. AB 1,2 / BC 1,2,3 / MB 1 / NB 1 / NF 1 / NS 1 / ON 1,2,3 / PE 1 / PQ 1,2,3 / SK 1 / YN 1 (5 cards per pack)

They are available at very reasonable prices. I see a complete set on ebay every 6 months or so.
Right now, look at ebay.com #253006744064 and seller oldpaperchaser is selling packs, too.

I hope this helps. Welcome to the forum.

The Scott Number is UX109B for the complet set of 90 (8 Cents) and UX109A for the 15 set of 7 cents. BTW, I'm still looking for the 5 cards from Saskatchewan, the only one that I do not have in my post cards collection. One day, I will find a set!
