Phil, if you don't know my story, but I just pulled my stamp album out, after a 41 year absence. I've been looking on ebay, and looking around on here. I know coins, and arrowheads, but I know just about zilch on stamps. I have literally hundreds of empty spaces in my minuteman album. I don't know to put my toes in the water, or just jump in head first?

Here is a great place to start. Every type of philately I've ever heard of and a lot I didn't is represented here, or someone has some information to offer. A lot of very helpful folks here.
Minuteman.. so U.S. stamps. Where you collecting mint, used, 19th century, 20th century, back of the book?

I'm not a high end collector, I'm looking for used US stamps. I've put some ads on CL in hopes of stumbling upon a deserted collection or two.
