Jim, since you're using Windows, MS has a fabulous snipping tool which lets you very easily take a screen shot of anything. You simply select what you want to copy and then it's automatically pasted onto your clipboard to either copy elsewhere or save. I use it all the time for images. It's been improved in Windows 10, but also available in Windows 7.
In Windows 10 they changed it to 'Windows' key and 'Print Screen' key (push together to take a screen capture of the entire screen). And of course the keyboard shortcuts for 'paste' is the 'Ctrl' key and the 'V' key to place your screen capture into another application. Don
The great thing about the snipping tool is that you can select the area you want to copy so you don't have to first capture your entire screen and then crop out the unwanted bits.
I use windows 7 and use Microsoft One Note and it comes with a nice screen snippet tool. There other good free tools as well. Of course, One Note can capture pages, articles, and regions of web pages.
If you are capturing a lot of online data, a program like OneNote or Evernote are great for organizing and searching.
Jenny, I wasn't aware of the snippet tool. What a handy thing! Thanks! As you said, you don't have to crop or edit as you do with a regular screen capture.

You can view and download your images from your photobucket account, just can't post them. But at least you can recover the images. Or Maybe I should say.. at this point, I can still view and download my images.
