I had some stamps and the USPS brochure framed (with archival materials) a while back. I'm not sure how many stamps are there, maybe 10 (?) and I realize they have little value - but does the brochure? I'm donating this to my church for a fund raiser and I need to know what the value is as they are going to auction it.

Thanks!

I took a quick look for anything comparable on ebay. Nothing exactly like it, but saw a few framed items based on this stamp asking for $20 or so. Here's one that sold for $19:

I was looking on ebay as well for the brochure - I couldn't even find it doing a Google search. I am pretty sure I paid about $70 or so just for the framing and I'm beginning to think that is worth more than the items framed.

You are right. The framing and matting greatly exceed the philatelic value of the stamps. But it is a popular music figure, and with it being auctioned for charity, it might do alright. It would depend upon the generosity of the bidders, not their philatelic knowledge, though

Hopefully there will be Elvis Gospel back ground music during the viewing.
