This is Scott 257 (ACSC 295be), a block of four with the special coil perf (small dot, large dots, small dot). There seems to be some sort of very faint writing in the margin. Can anyone decipher? (Darkened to help see the letters.)

Coil perf blocks like this are valued higher than normal blocks so I'd be checking if mine.

I was away from my computer for a hour or so, enjoying my "Stamp" Australian wine. I see that the issue was solved in my absence. Yes, I agree with Don's analysis on the two small perfs. This was part of that larger Auction purchase which has kept me busy for two months now.

Thanks again for everyone's work.
