It isn't a fake. It is a trimmed Type V.

The title of your thread could also have been: Moron Collector Pays $141.50 for #35 space filler.

Agreed... it's obviously a 35... but, fakery, nonetheless.

It's an "altered 35", rather then a fake.

If it was any other seller, I'd jump on board with 'altered'...

However, given it's Anthony's... the intent is faking one
item for another... (as always)

There is no doubt about the intent. That is the intent of all sellers of altered stamps.

Bobby... why not just delete it, instead of hiding it...

It wasn't Bobby, it was me. I moved it because we had other people asking to move it and it seemed appropriate.
Don

Edit: just to clarify of how I decide what seems 'appropriate'...

Any thread which calls out an online listing is inherently about a stamp or cover. It comes down to determining the primary subject of the thread; is the subject about a stamp/cover or is it more about a seller or venue?

If the thread is primarily about a seller or venue then it belongs in this category. If the thread post is more about a stamp/cover detail or identification; then it belongs in another category.
