The Spanish stamp commemorating the anniversary of the eruption of the Tajogaite volcano in the Cumbre Vieja range on the Island of La Palma (Canary Isles) came in a miniature sheet of six stamps.

The miniature sheet itself shows the Teneguía that erupted in 1971. This was the last volcanic eruption on the island before that of the Tajogaite depicted on the stamps.

To the right of the block of six stamps an area has been cut out of the sheet's selvedge. This area takes the shape of the island of La Palma. Teneguía is in the far south of the island. Tajogaite is a little south of the small bulge about a third up the west coast of the island and just west of the central north-south axis.

La Palma also is known as 'La Isla Bonita.'
