Interesting!
So the Krag produced the Triangle Slogan marks.
Always wondered about that.

Here is a 1964 cover sent from a Mackintosh in Edinburgh to another Mackintosh in the USA. The attached label commemorates the 650th anniversary of the Battle of Bannockburn, where King of Scots Robert the Bruce defeated the army of King Edward II of Britain in the First War of Scottish Independence.

Thanks Rod. These days I don't know which to blame...the fingers, the eyes, or the brain.

I'm in the same boat, Bob,
I have to proof read everything I type now, even with normal keyboard.
With my cell phone, it's a diabolical.

I really like this thread, as my lineage goes back to Scotland and the Clan Dunbar. My great grandfather was Linus Dunbar, who married Flo Campbell, so I am from the Clan Campbell as well.

From my collection, a postal card cancelled in Dunbar, East Lothian, for the topic.

Linus

Rod

Very nice, I like it, saving that piece of artwork for sure. The horse looks like Garth, one of three we have running around here at the "ranch."

Shown below is another cover from my collection. The perfin is D & Co from John Donaldson & Co. Ltd. in Edinburgh, Scotland, seed merchants.

Linus

"You shall have your HADDOCK....when the boat comes in."

Fills me with nostalgia for my birth country.
Never forget James Bolan acting in the TV series.
Hell could freeze over before I missed an episode!

The best ever TV series along with "Callan"

I nice Northumbrian "Sea shanty"
