I'm not much of fan of trompe l'oeil painting like this one. There were a number of artists who seemed to be stuck on doing these over and over such as John Peto though there were others. Is this one of Peto's works or is it another artist?

Thanks, Basil. I should have clicked on your link. Here is an example of one of John Frederick Peto's many trompe l'oeil paintings of this kind of letter boards with ribbons holding old letters and other things which is why I was first thinking of his work.
