Dear Friends

Kindly I need your advice about the attached stamp picture , its 5 cents Washington stamp with blue line error . Does it worth any value ?

It is not error. Your stamp shows the guide line used for trimming the sheet of 400 into panes of 100. Your stamp is from the upper left pane of the sheet of 400. It could conceivably have had a similar line at the right, but it was removed during the cutting process. Most collectors these days find straight edges undesirable and as a consequence devalue the stamp.

Here is an example of what was discussed. I always think a picture is helpful.

Most collectors in the states do not like these, that's very good, because I do collect them. This makes them very cheap.
