Hi all,
yes ..me again!

I have a stamp that I am having trouble identifying, pretty sure its a 211B but I would like a second, more knowledgeable opinion.

Perf 12, and it feels like tissue paper
I have put it up against a 210 in one picture, the 210 is cancelled.

210 is also soft porous paper, so you're going to have to get the
stamp expertized for positive ID.

It's going to come down to the strike of the image, given 211B was
a special printing... special printings are sharp and clear

It's not. Look at the lettering and the shading behind the lettering on genuine examples as opposed to the ones above......

Yessir... 210 comes in 3 flavors...

red brown, dark red brown and orange brown

My block would be the dark red brown

There are so many different varieties of the 1 cent Green, all identical at first glance, and I have difficulty with WMKs,.....then we get to the coils!

The trick with W/F is to sort by perforations first, that way you know what the watermark possibilities are in each case. Just by removing the perf 11's from the pile usually cuts down a lot on the identifications.
