Not yet ~ catalogued 220... an article was written about it 3 years ago in the August 2014 issue of The Specialist... only 2 known copies (at that date)... the one pictured in the article, and one I have... it's possible more might have appeared due to the article, though... no established rarity or value was officially assigned at that time, and unknown to date... interesting piece... anyone seen any updates?   |

Hi, looks like a common relief break, no value that I know of. Except for a variety collector, relief breaks are progressive.
See Cloudy's book "Encyclopedia of Plate Varieties on U.S. Bureau Printed Postage Stamps", he discussed these relief breaks.

Hi disi123, the stamp in question is not a Bureau Printed, so it won't be in Cloudy's book. But Cloudy does discuss relief breaks, which you can use the information in his book on other than Bureau Printed Postage Stamps.
Cloudy and myself often had discussions about relief breaks, on all stamps Bureau Printed or non Bureau Printed Postage Stamps. If anyone is interested in relifed Breaks Cloudy's book has extensive listing on Washington Franklin Heads, on the one cent Washington. Very interesting.

disi, I mostly just post about three cent 1851-57 stamps. That way I'm annoying a smaller group of members.

disi123, I have no idea where you could obtain a copy.
But, check with your library, if your library participates in the Inter Library Loan program.
Good luck.
I had extra copies, but have given all away.
