Anyone noticed the exact same article by Piercy in First Quarter 2017 and in Third Quarter 2017 issues? Good for the writer and an expensive mistake for the journal.

CANADA150 - thanks for pointing that out. I believe the David Piercy article in the 3rd quarter should have been Part 2 and Part 1 was put in again in error. I know someone who is on the BNA Topics Team so I will mention it to him.

Looks like a big mistake since it covers so many pages. Should I renew or not renew my subscription next year?

I received an answer from one of the editors and it appears that in Q3, the entire article was erroneously put into the BNA Topics and titled Part 1. In Q1, the article seemed quite lengthy so it was broken up into two parts.

There will be a message in the next BNA Topics about this with an apology.

Of course you should renew. It was a mistake -- you'll get over it. Stamp publications are produced by human beings, most of whom are volunteers. What you SHOULD do is send them a Thank You note for all their dedication to our hobby.

Why would someone non-renew a membership over an error in the publication? To be honest, I never noticed it in my copies.

I agree with Renden and kirks. By the way, some collectors renew their standing order with Canada Post hoping they will get one of those "errors" that appears from time to time.....
