Out of curiosity does anyone have experience with same stamp grading from both organizations and how close similar were the grades?

I am firmly in the anti- grading camp but the set of zeps I just picked up are soooooo beautiful!

No. However the resale would go up should I choose to part ways with them in the future.

As a rule, the PF is a bit more conservative in their grading.

Most people that come here wanting to grade their stamps don't have a stamp that is worth grading. Since they are soooooooooo nice, why don't you show us a decent scan of them?

Sinclair2010 - What is your problem? You need an attitude adjustment my friend. I am asking for opinions on differences in grading between PF and PSE. I have met a great many good people on here during my short tenure. Based on your snark you are sooooooo not one of them. Maybe you cow some people into running to their scanner to please a pillar of the community. To me you are just rude. Really, what is your problem? Terminal arrogance? Small man's complex? Or just like being a jerk to others because you are hiding behind a keyboard? All of the above would be my guess. Goodbye Sin.

No problem here. I will admit that I wasn't answering your question though. Everybody, well, almost everybody I guess, knows that if you want your stamps graded you just send it to PSE. No need to even consider your several other options. I doubt I would have anything graded that I didn't think would get a 95 or better. I don't see anything wrong with asking for a scan. You are the one that brought them up!

I don't know - I haven't seen the stamps. Maybe they are soooo worth getting a graded cert from both the PF and PSE?

Why a 95 or better Sinclair? Anything over an 80 is an increase to baseline Scott CV. Can you show me some scans of some 95, 98 or 100's that you have?

Very nice zeps. Not into grading either though. I don't have any zeps. So I can not answer your direct question though in my opinion nothing outstanding on the centering but something I would 100% love to have.

Collectors that spend serious money on graded stamps would laugh at an 80. Your stamps are nice but not nice enough to grade IMO. I think they would only get 85-90.

Sinclair - I am thinking 85. Would be very happy with that. I doubt a 90 but that would be nice. Not up to the grade of material sold by MrFancyCancel or Stampsnstuff but still very nice. LOL

Scan in some of your 95's so that I can see what to strive for. #128515;

Are you kidding me? I have lots of nice stamps and have shown many of them over the years. I don't do graded certs or even regular certs for that matter. I don't do peeing contest either.

Sinclair - That is what I thought. You speak with such authority on grading that I was certain that you had personal experience with them. Finally, I agree that peeing contests are best conducted at keg parties. Have a stupendous night Sinclair. Tomorrow we can compare our stamp tongs and you can tell me that mine are shorter than yours. #9996;#65039;
