I got a new email address earlier this year and have not visited Hipstamps ever (visited Bidstart long before the new email address, found it not worth my time), yet somehow they got my email address and sent me one of their broadcast spam emails. Not happy with whoever sold them my email address.
Eye, that is very strange. I have been buying items from several ex-bidstart folks through hipstamp and have only gotten an email once or twice in the past nine months.
Hi, I've dealt with Hip Stamp some time, and recently bought a couple of items, and never had any reaction as other have had. Maybe my turn is coming. But after all this time if it hasn't happened yet, doubt it will happen at all.
In my case, it didnt even get flagged as a spam and landed right in the middle of other mails. I have never used bidstart or hipstamps... Wondering who sold me out, as it is private email only for stamp purchases... Might be some ebay seller or even ebay themselves !
I just sent them a message expressing my displeasure about receiving spam. I never used HipStamp but did register at BidStart/Stamp Wants, but have an issue with them automatically registering everyone to their new selling platform.
Also I was tired of clicking on unsubscribe and having nothing happen.
