Guess Which Stamp Was Reperforated?

Pretty obvious

Several years ago I purchased about 20 lots from KMP Auctions. I'm just now getting around to working on them and I've not found one lot without a forgery, reperf or damaged stamp. The items I bought were on album pages, so only after rehousing them, I can see all the faults. I know there's always problems when buying lots, but the ones I purchased from this seller seem to have more than normal.

For years I purchased worldwide lots, collections and accumulations with hopes of good quality stamps. Either my expectations were misguided or I was clueless as to where to purchase such things. Sometimes if felt like I was starting a Home For Wayward Stamps.

But Don my expectations are to find germs gems in every lot I buy instead of faults. I expect that at least one stamp in every lot will pay for next year's cruise. It's so disappointing when I find this junk instead

I would take that dark green 22 1/2 cent stamp and write up a separate page on it ,with a copy of a uncut REAL copy next to it .

Nooo, that is the rare 'mini' version of this issue!

This is why I have rarely bought collections at Auction, focusing instead on key sets or singles I need. I absolutely despise finding problems in ebay and other "blind" purchases that could have easily been described, and frankly it's become a matter of great displeasure over the past year or two. Perhaps it's pretty obvious from my posts and I definitely feel your pain.

The only exceptions re buying collections or lots have been some MNH/UMM KGVI country collections from Corbitt's which were amazing. I did buy one net priced collection of Jamaica from Apfelbaums only because there was a rare perf they didn't see that was worth 15 or 20 times what I paid for the entire lot.
