Based on Lyons' three volume work your stamp is not genuine. I do not see an apostrophe between "N" and "S" of Brown's", the banner should come to a point just before the rider's face and not touch the face, the arm of the rider completely covers the "I" of "PAID" (it should show a portion of the letter) and almost completely covers the "A" of "PAID" (it should only cover a portion of the lower right leg of the "A"). |

Wow, you have no idea if it's genuine, but you list it anyway potentially selling a counterfeit. Just Wow. |

Even the fakes are fun to collect if you have the information wtcrowe mentioned and know what you're doing. A nightmare without. |

Might be worth consideration to state that you're unsure if the stamps are genuine. After all it's a true statement. |

Hi Phil, I have enough trouble with collecting genuine and telling the difference, I think collecting forgeries will open Pandora's box for me! Ohhhh the pain, the pain!
Shermae, I'm thinking that and list at 1 dollar, but is it really worth the effort and time....I thought they may have been genuine until Perf12 posted the picture, I could see the difference then! so unless someone wants them, they will go into the "what am I going to do with these?" box, along with some blackjacks that have seen better days, a 69 Washington missing a corner, some folded 88's, and 65's that have been fighting, and the ugliest 189 in existence! |

Wow, I just learned how to detect another fake stamp. The arm cover the 'A' in paid-how cool is that?? Did any one notice that the riders entire lower leg is missing? Its not even there-gone-!! |
