I see this is in conjunction with Murray Payne.

Any major fail from Stanley Gibbons.

I prefer to download a pdf verison but I can't find one.

I have a fast internet connection but it still takes an age to download. I eventually gave up and tried the search facility.

The search facility however is useless because they haven't included the country name in the Descriptor. Try searching for Australia snd you don't get much. If however you search for kangaroo you get more. They have the St. Helena 15s badge stamp but you have to search for '15s' to find it!

What a mess!

I got my catalogue in the post yesterday morning. It's in the recycling bin already...

I have to agree - incredibly poor online presentation of the auction and a search facility that is totally hopeless mainly because there are no country names in each lot.

I believe I mentioned before that at SG we listen to feedback from collectors and try our best to implement it. That information is incredibly vital to us as we need to understand how our users like to browse and bid or buy. We launched the initial version as a first version if you like, with some upgrades that were soon to follow, particularly the ones you mention here. So I'm happy to say that yes, the categories and countries were incredibly important and followed quickly as an update, that has now been added to the search bar as a drop-down. As per the issues mikyh mentioned above, we are adding the country to the description as well and the pdf catalogue is now also available.
