I see there several varieties of this plate block top. I have 2 fat vertical lines and then the crossed lines are of different thickness?? Are the varieties based only on the vertical set of lines?

Hi 3193zd

I think the answer is way to involved to discuss here.

If I might make a suggestion, refer to the 2016 Durland Standard Plate Number Catalog, there you will find the answer.

Stampmaster, why would you say that? There are plenty of plate block specialists here that could respond.

Not sure why Stampmaster says its way to involved to talk here. 2012 Durland says thick blue and thick red lines together = Type 4.
