I lived in Thailand for 10 years, off and on, and perhaps Don's advice, would be well observed in those conditions, I would leave home, in a crisp ironed shirt, and by the time I got to my motorbike (100m) I would be dripping with perspiration.
How philately is carried on there, goodness knows.
Here in Australia, lovely dry heat in Perth, one gives nary a thought to humidity problems.
Obviously things look similar in Croatia.
I do go by advice I had from our member "Tony Mac" years ago, good philatelic husbandry generally is met by the status quo, on how you find material. Keep on cover, keep multiples , don't break blocks, keep fragments.
Divergence is the individual's call, there is no penalty, but Philatelic concordance is generally diminished in one form or another when one does.
