I discovered this error a little while ago, but wanted to share here. It has been written up in a newsletter before, so if you have seen it, please let others guess.
Great guess! That's what I thought at first. However, it is a printers error. The first two stamps were printed "334300 and 334301. Being that the sheets start at 01, 02 etc., the printer noticed the error, erased as well as possible, then renumbered correctly with the sequence "334301 and 334302".
