I don't know these plates well at all, so hoping for some verification here.

Plate 11 or 12, Type II, so must be either "T" relief Plate 11, or "A" relief Plate 12. Can't see any guide dots, but the plume in the lower left has more there than what is shown in Neinken's Plate 12, "A" relief, so I'm thinking that this is Plate 11, "T" relief. Is that correct?

Thanks!
Ray

Ray, this might well be 10R11 as illustrated in Neinken page 471. There appears to be a dot on the top frameline above the O of POSTAGE and no guide dot as you point out.

Hey Dudley, thanks for the response.
I've taken a look, and the image in Siegel and Neinken both show a couple of scratches down the right side of 10R11, and my stamp has neither. My stamp though isn't as good of an impression, so I suppose it could've been there, or there's too much toning for me to be able to see it.

There is a match though, on my stamp for the mark at the bottom of Ornament "M", so I'll send it to Doporto with a couple of others that I'm not sure of.

Thanks for the heads up-- appreciate it!
Ray

I agree that its a Pl 11 T relief.

The dot above the "O" in POSTAGE and the apparent dot in ornament M, certainly make me inclined to agree that 10R11 is a good bet.

That dot in ornament M may actually be the extension of the arcing scratch which shows in the 9-10R11 pair at Siegel. Light plate scratches can easily be transient things, which wear.
