Here are 2 Elmer Long return envelopes not in the link just above. Despite the comic illustration noting the new address the first cover still shows the old address
The second is altered by hand to match the comic.

It is also interesting they were sent back "free" by soldiers so both reveal the "Commemorative stamp appreciated if available" message normally covered up.

Concerning Matthew J. Huss's World War II Patriotics, "Hal, Pillar Of The Community", whom I have been unable to contact, posted here about a "Huss Estate" sale. Does anybody know anything about this possible Evanston, IL event? --
