Here's a side by side comparison between the 6T2 telegraph stamps.

There are a variety of subtle differences between the two.

See if you can spot them.

The shape of the "C" in CTS and the dot (period) size.

I'd award that a 7 out of 10 for forgery accuracy.

The points around the oval are much too similar and even in the forgery, which actually looks too good. Which is almost always a bad sign.

The bottom end of the diagonal leg of the two "R"s is quite different.
