You should post a scan/picture on the Australia forum. Are you a collector? Interesting first post and a big welcome to SCF. |

Hi kevjon189 I believe you are pulling our leg, if such a stamp existed I would know about it. I actually have an extremely rare block of 4, 1949 ˝d Wallaroo stamps with a very early state of plate crack under the W.C.G. McCracken imprint (printed from the 1938 John Ash plate). There is only one in existence. I also have unissued Australian proofs, from the reign of Queen Victoria and George V, both in black.
The 3˝d over 3d (and 2˝d over 2d) were issued in sheets of 120, not 80, only the 5˝d over 5d were issued in sheets of 80. Also, you say you have a rare stamp, yet you mention you have a sheet of 80. Aren't you a little late (or should I say a little early) for April fools. Rob |

Looks like the image slowed them down on comments. Quote: I've got a 80 stamp sheet full maybe only one in the world rarest of rare stamp worth millions I'm sure can you input on this The poster already knows everything about this stamp sheet so why ask? |

I think you are all being a little unkind to the original poster - after all he is describing a sheet of "kvg1" which I will bet none of you have ever seen. Now anyone who knows his Australian issues would realise that these were from the trials conducted out beyond the black stump (hence the melted printer - poor guy!).

Quote: I didn't notice the King he was referring to was KG1, he reigned from 1714-1727. Pretty sure the original poster is not referring to KG1. The title of the thread shows 1937 KGV1 so unless there was a King George Vincent, Im pretty sure the V1= KG VI. |

Probably just a kid posting for fun. Don't we all dare to dream about finding such things, even as adults. |
