I've been working on used PNC singles for my own collection. It's slow going as they're not easy to find. Many of those in my collection have been soaked from envelopes I've received from dealers and sellers, which makes me happy...they're the ones I didn't have to buy. |

Nice collection. You might want to check the tagging on 1898Ab for the "burning wheels" variety... |

@funbaldguy, there is no tagging on 1898Ab. There is no tagging on any precancel ( except maybe as a variety ).

I have heard the name Prairie Fire for the irregular 1898A tagging. |

Eyeonwall, you are correct. But funbaldguy is refering to tagging on a precancel, 1898Ab and that is not really possible
