It appears to still be on paper, how do you know that there are no grills?

There's no trace of a grill that I can see. It's #65.

i was thinking I should be able to see atleast a trace of the grills from front. but wasnt 100% sure

Grills can be seen from the front without lifting the stamp. Considering that all of the most common grills were impressed from the front, a person with any skill at all is probably more likely to detect a grill from the front rather than the back of the stamp. This is particularly true for weakly impressed grills. Identification is easier when looking at the back of the stamp.
