Wow.....!
What a hassle it has been this year to get the financial year's figures out of
ebay & pay pal. We have 2 accounts for each of them to get a handle on.
Went back to how we retrieved the info last year to find it does not work that way this year.
So to get the info from a personal account is just so unworkable.
Had to change all accounts to business accounts that needed an Australia Business Number to make this change so as to get any good detailed figures to do our tax for 2016/2017 + a 2.3% fee comes with the change.
The hoops that the government makes us jump through. We do not earn a taxable income as yet but can not do what the government wants us to do unless we have an ABN number to use. We are in a position that our ABN can be stopped at any time. Crazy hey! It has taken us weeks to get to this position of having the correct figures to work with.
Sometimes I just sit and wonder.....
