Value Of This Newfoundland - Trail Of The Caribou Series?

I hope this is not improper... (or in the wrong place!)

May I inquire to you experts how much (in either USD or CDN) we could expect for this 1919 series? Never hinged, all new stamps. We are considering putting that up for auction.

Probably the best way to estimate value is by searching ebay sold listings. An OG NH set recently sold for US $133.

for $159US + $19US shipping.

And that has a link to another set offered at $269US + $17US shipping. I have no idea what is reflected in this range of prices.

Mea culpa, Kirks. I saw the bidding has ended script and the links to similar items and didn't think to scroll down to get the info on the ended lot.

RiTz21, yours has nicer centering overall than the 2 ebay auctions that ended. So I would expect more; I can't say how much. The issue is normally not centered like most collectors expect with a set usually having some middle to higher values with the designs touching or cut by the perfs.

You have a nice set...Most of them have decent centering,,,Hope you get what you are asking.

Interesting fact about these stamps..They were a commemorative set to show the accomplishment of the Newfoundland regiment in WW1 (1914-1918)... It was a combination Caribou and Moose head...It was also on the regiment badge...Just some boring facts for you.
