Up date on my previous offer: all 5 postmarked envelopes available have been mailed. I am now awaiting to see the new ones supposed to be issued on MOnday to see what has caused this recall. This is getting a bit too frequent (Hoodoos, Vimy SS, Villeneuve, now Hanoukkah... I wonder if CanadaPost shouln't improve their processes, and hire a couple of experts on their stamp review committee. May be an opportunity for a few flyspeckers (i.e. WERT) to put their skills to good use... |

And still no explanation as to why. I am 100% sure that there will be a wording change in the booklet, not affecting the stamps in anyway. Still, it will be also interesting to see if the stamps make their way through the post with a good cancellation. |

So far, there has been no explanation provided for why it was recalled. There are many of these booklets already on ebay with some saying it is a spelling error, but what spelling error is it? It is most likely to do with the booklet wording rather than the stamp so that keeping the booklet intact may help to show the difference but also using the stamps on early usages before its re-release may also help to show it is from the first booklet. Keep the first booklet even without stamps to show that it was used and different. |

The official first day cover is still November 14, 2017, so it definitely looks like the stamp itself is no different. They only show one side of the booklet, so still not possible to see what has changed. |
