Well I am going to go back and having a look for that bag of meters I put in the left over bin I am working with.

Likewise I have never seen then before. Have never collected them. Had no idea anyone collected them.

Thanks Aussie Al great post!

Well, it just shows one must be in the right place at the right time, if I knew of this when you sold those you didn't want, I would have purchased some.

Hi Aussie Al

The only duplicate low value specimens I have are decimal QEII issues after 1966, and all are in MUH (stamps $1 and over were overprinted "specimen").

Just to confirm...
Is that a Specimen overprint on the Decimal issue?...or a picture of the 3d stamp with Specimen Opt?

Right. Thanks Al.
I just don't recall it listed in the Australasian Catalogue of Specimens.
I wonder if it is in Brusden White?

Found 4 of these with a bunch of printers imprints on large blocks.

The cards are damaged in one way or another.

Do they have any value?

Indeed John,
were $10 around 1980.
They are unofficial "specimen" opts....

I'll dig out my image somewhere on my database... hang 5

Keep on the cards, they look OK to me.
Would be of interest to the specialist..........
