As of 5 hours ago, Prince Harry will marry American once divorce actress Meghan Markle.

Can anyone predict the stamp dates for the couple in Canada?

Thanks

You could always ask Canada Post, if they will issue.......I do not think the wedding date has been confirmed yet.

William is the future monarch (after Charles III) and so got a wedding stamp.
Harry is not a future monarch (unless all hell breaks loose!)
I doubt if there will be a stamp for his wedding.

There was one for Elizabeth's wedding as future monarch #276 (1948).
Strangely, the future Charles III does not figure on ANY Canadian stamp – not for becoming Prince of Wales, or his wedding to Diana, or for a royal visit - nothing!

I just wanna say, Meghan Markle owns my old house in Toronto. I didn't sell it to her, but she owns it now. That's as close as I ever expect to get.

I wonder whether Charles will actually take the name Charles III if and when he ascends the throne. After all, his grandfather, George VI, was named Albert (and was known familiarly as "Bertie") until he became king.

Maybe Charles will just allow William to become King. I think it would be better for the monarchy.

I very much doubt it. He's been waiting for decades, like Edward VII - he's not going to give it up.

@Sak - There is a stamp for the wedding of Prince Edward, youngest child of QE2. If he has a stamp, im sure the new couple would. Plus, royal mail should rack in the money from suits fans and those who watch meghan's shows!

While Canada has not released Prince Charles and Prince Harry stamps the RCM has released coins for Prince Charles, William, and Harry.

Even if Canada don't release any Prince Harry Wedding stamps, a lot of other countries will do so.

That will not happen because Prince Charles wants his son to raise his family as normally as possibly without the enormous responsibility as king.

The only way Charles will not be king is if he dies before his mother.
