Hello Experts!

I got a query for you... I've been going through a stack of stamps #934.
In my 2017 Unitrade catalog, it says that there are two printings: CBN (which has pale text) and BABN (where the text is more pronounced)

Please correct me if I am wrong, but as I see it (ref. included image), the BABN variety would be number 934 iv.

But for the CBN there seems to be (excluding the high value a and b variety) a #934 and #943iii variety: The #934 being the 'Clark' paper plate, and the #934iii used the Harrison paper plate. HOW does one amateur philatelist can determine WHICH of these plates was used on the stamp!?

In other words, which of my CNB stamps are #934 and which are #934iii !?!

THANKS for shedding some light on the subject!

Welcome to the forum RiTz21.

The 2018 Unitrade details the differences between Harrison and Clark paper on page 26 - Paper Manufacturers.

You must read the COPYRIGHT section on the back of the first non-numbered page in the catalogue. Persons are required to secure permission to scan/copy and insert Unitrade pages into posts.

ahh sweet, it is also on page 26 in the 2017 edition!

Reading that entry, they say that the Harrison Paper Appearance (used) stamps have:
<<Back of stamps has horizontal 'lines' when viewed against a darker background>>

er... what ?!?!
I'm not seeing any horizontal lines... not sure how to check for that :(

"Quotes" are a feature in the "Reply to Topic" selection, not the "Quick Reply".
