Turkish, Arabic? Envelope With Printed Stamp In The Middle?

Also I'm interested in this one. Any information would be appreciated.

Struggling to see it, but it looks Persian/Iranian.

Is the black Print in the centre classed as a stamp? I'm just curious

With his details printed thereon.

Farahbakhsh definitely was a well-known stamp dealer. Comparing with Rod's scan, that's just a picture of a classic Persian/Iranian stamp, not a real stamp or stationery imprint.

Yup, this is a glassine for stamps purchased from him with his ad on the front. This is a typical thing done outside the US. A lot of US dealers had their ads or names printed or rubberstamped on the back or front of small-size manila pocket cards.

Julie- A blank glassine? No. I believe Hy-Brazil is referring to the original photo item which has a connection to a well known dealer of Persian stamps. A little "extra" for context is always nice.

P.S.- I use the empty glassines for duplicates that I don't intend to hang on to.

as Svensson suggested, on-topic ephemera adds spice to a collection, sometimes provenance to a future study of a particular branch of Philately.

Never discount anything that has some link to collecting, there are people out there that collect all sorts of weird and wonderful things.

I have a colleague that collects the history of Australian Stamp dealers.
Glassines, business cards, paper perf guages, you name it.

Blank Glassines, certainly keep, and use for sending swaps, or sales.

Thanks to everyone that responded to my question - I wasn't suggesting that saving a blank glassine would be of use for collecting or display purposes, I did understand after reading the thread that this particular glassine at the beginning has information about an Iranian stamp dealer. I was wondering if there is any reason to use them for anything but holding stamps, I do have a bunch of them that are printed - I don't believe they are particularly interesting because the stamps they contained were fairly common worldwide stamps. I was just curious as to whether there was some use for them aside from the obvious, but I am guessing not. Now that one that Rod has is interesting, I can see why he saved it. Mine are pretty mundane. Thanks everyone!

you can use blank or common "contents printed" glassines, as suggested before, swaps or sales.
You can use them to store stamps, but for a limited time.

Glassine is normal paper that has been rolled under pressure, so it is subject to deterioration depending on environment. They do go brown over time if humidity is present.

Any that show age or wear I discard.
