Hi all.

I have a last pair of Stamps that I would to identify the country of origin.

All help greatly appreciated.

Seems strange without any markings.

They are Christmas Seals from 1976. They are listed in the Scott U.S. Specialized Catalogue.

Here is a scan of the entire sheet of 54 of the 1976 Christmas seal. All of them contain the Red Cross Tuberculosis symbol, but only a few are actually inscribed "Christmas 1976". Those in the bottom row also say "American Lung Association".

John, that is not the Red Cross symbol. That is the symbol for Tuberculosis - the Red Cross does not do their fundraising through Christmas seals as far as I know. That is a pretty sheet though!

I think the cross is called the Cross of Loraine and has be yhe Am. Lung Assn. for as long as I can remember, and I'm a geezer, so that is a long time.

Not any more, but the earliest Christmas Seals in the U.S.(1907–1919, Scott #WX1–WX25) were issued by the American Red Cross and featured the Red Cross symbol.
