Well Tang, sorry for your trouble. If you don't mind, it would be instructive to use your case here - to try to understand how this keeps happening??

You're buying high value stamps - where OG obviously matters to you - and you're paying for that. How could you buy such an item without even seeing a picture of the back?

The listing says:

US Stamps # 243 VF OG H Fresh color Scott Value $1,500.00

First, it is not VF.

2nd - it is both OG and H - (which I assume means hinged) - that's a big red flag - even more reason to see the back first.

But more importantly - there have been dozens / countless threads on this board about this guy. There are countless reports on stampsmarter about his listings. I am assuming you saw none of this before buying this stamp?? I'm not sure what else can be done - even following this board for a few weeks should highlight how suspect this particular seller is...

Good luck with the return! Please let us know what happens.

Don't feel bad - your stamp is not the only one!

This stamp is Scott #35. (Turkey in Asia) CV = $24.50

He's misidentified it & overstating its CV by $17,475!

I have returned this item and received the full refund.

I am actually a long-time customer of Anthony's. However, I never bought any US classic stamps from him before. I only bought some China/Japan collections from him. And all those stamps are modern materials and do not have genuineness, re-gum, re-perforation issues at all.

You have to be aware of PRC reprints

@stallzer

I am a perfectionist. And I cannot accept the fact that someone hates me. LOL
