Hi all,

flicking through a Philippines collection, Sc 408 listed as red brown, this seems a lot darker than copies I've seen elsewhere?.

thanks

Agree it is darker and colour (color) is not homogeneous.
Peter, what did you mean by changeling ?

I mean that the color has changed. Looks like oxidation to me; brownish and reddish colors do that just by exposure to air. Rene, if you look up "changeling" in our search box you ill find lots of examples.

Changeling has a total different meaning in most Dictionaries, unrelated to our activity but I may be wrong - it is in SCF glossary. So I learned a new word today -
Thanks for responding, Peter
