Found these two along with appx. 15 Panama Canal RPPC's in a box under a cabinet at a thrift store in Columbus, Mississippi.

Hi Stampavalanche, nice looking cards, I especially like the atomic bomb card.

I have a question for you regarding the cards, I don't know how long you have been interested in post cards, but I am wondering if you have looked at the cards under magnification? Sometimes black and white cards can look like real picture photo cards (rppc) but when you look at them under magnification you will see little dots make up the picture - which is not an rppc, the rppc has no dots under magnification.

I am wondering if you checked for this because I have a large lot of older cards here myself which I thought at first were full of rppc cards. Unfortunately, that was not the case, most were black and white reprints of an older rppc photo and when I looked under magnification could tell they had actually been printed.

Also, I do not know if you know about this site: http://www.playle.com/realphoto/
You will be able to identify the stamp boxes and who made the photographic paper that the card is printed on, like Kodak, etc., if you have the real deal there.

I am a greenhorn but did run into this myself, please check it out for yourself if you haven't already, and congratulations on your thrift shop score! Julie

JChrisler, Thank you for your response and explanation of what a rppc really is. I haven't had a chance to get on the forum in a long time due to my work schedule and I apologize for the delayed response. I didn't know what to look for under magnification. Your explanation helped a lot. Thanks again! Jonathan
