Hmmm, don't see how to edit the above for an addition. I note that StampSmarter doesn't include a 2127c in their Transpo Coil listing.

This is the first time I noticed there was a 2127c, but I can offer an opinion. I'd guess that 2127c would be untagged and that you can detect the impression of the service inscription in the paper but without the black ink that would normally have been present. As the regular 2127 is known untagged, this may be the only way to tell the two apart.

I'd defer to Peter as he probably knows more on this subject.

Looking for some info on White Ace pages for the US Transportation Coil series. Unfortunately I'm unable to connect to their site, Firefox or IE, been like this for awhile now so I'm turning to this forum for info. What I'd like to know is how many pages come in the set, and how detailed they may be. Are they just the basic stamps (singles) or do the pages incl PNCs, strips(how many, 3-5-7), JLP's, published varieties, precancels etc etc. If strips are incl, is a space on there for each different PN strip or just one example, same for PN singles? How inclusive are these puppies & what manner of info is printed on the pages? I intend to flyspeck in the series and those that are amusing will go on blank WA pages inserted into the album but info on the basic album is what I'm after at the moment.

As an aside, I'd be interested in the same for the Americana series from WA, which also fascinate me. TIA

GrandpaJohn, Happy New Year to you. And just in the nick of time too! Sorry, I have been busy and did not see this post till a few minutes ago.
I see that you are looking for an album? I hate to tell you, but the reason I make my own is because there is none. And I daresay there never will be a comprehensive one because of all the possible varieties.
I do have some White Ace pages that came with auction lots that I acquired, but I do not really care for them. I do not know about their albums.
By th way, I was not aware of a 2127c either and the PNC3 club does not list it ( yet ? ).
Hope this helps just a little bit,

Peter

Thanks Peter, I suspect I'll just make my own too. The White Ace site is finally back up after a week and they show samples but they simply have too much wasted space on their pages, even though they look nice. I've DL'd easy album and will look at that. It'll be awhile before I make any but thought I might get a head start w/ WA, but...
