Hi guys

Started going through 100's of small queens ad looking hard at the cancels..When did this cancel start and stop..?

The era of fancy cancels came to an end in the 1890s, when the Post Office Department issued new regulations standardizing the form of cancellations.This applies to the USA, Robert. Could not yet find a date for Canada but the Cork cancel was replaced in each individual Province and Post Office
