Hi guys.
Take a look at my Scott 37 Small Queen...According to BNAPS (The squared circle postmarks of Canada) book.

They say the that the Time mark 1,4,and 6-24 period one was issued start date of December 15.1894 and last used date LRD (Latest recorded date) October 9.1896...My time mark is a 4 which is classified as [b]period one

If you look closely at my Small Queen.
It has a date of November 14.1896 which is 34 days past last known usage..Now either I have proof of a new LRD or I have missed something.

Robert

Sorry but they are quite common. My buddy collects these and I asked him to check his collection and he has hundreds.

I tried to upload images but for some reason it won't work. Anyway, BNAPS is wrong! Not the first time for sure! If you want to see the images just let me know.

Aaron Gulliver's excellent squared circle resource

http://www.ece.uvic.ca/~agullive/sq...ontario.html

lists Kingston hammer II, time mark 4, used as late as Dec. 1898. I am not well-studied on these cancels, but have friends who are. I thought Hamilton might also be a possibility but didn't bother researching further, think Kingston is correct.
