Togo post office info:
The first boundries were set on August 30 1914 placing under British mandat the western
region including the German certain sectors of Lome,Misahohe(Klouto),Kété-Kratchi & the
district of Yendi(region Mango-Yendi).A second agrement was signed on the 10 july 1919
& the French received almost the entire Lomé sector,the Klouto sector (less Ho &
Kpandou);The eastern part of Kété-Kratchi sector.
The Convention was signed in Lomé on August 30 1914 under the conditions of the
convention of the Hague;and the application of German legislation.(No direct tax
could be reclaimed)
On the 4 September 1916,the successive military commandes lead to the nomination
of a High Commisioner of the Republic of Togo,after which Togo became a colony.
